EFKO Group told about new realities of the food market

13 October 2017, Russia – EFKO Group, one of the largest agroindustrial holdings in Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union, organized a seminar «New realities on the food market» for strategic partners. The seminar was held on the days of «WorldFood» International food exhibition in Moscow. 

One of the main event themes was an important legislative change in the field of the food industry – the introduction of limitation levels of trans isomers of fatty acids in Fat&Oil products since 1 January 2018. 

2.jpgPossessing the most modern production, and R&D departments with more than 200 specialists, EFKO Group, one of the first producers in the CIS countries, have started working on specialized fats and margarine with the reduced trans-isomers. Today the company has the widest assortment of such products in Russia. 

Speaking to partners during the seminar, EFKO technologists highlighted that using specialized fats and margarine with no more than 2% of trans-isomers should become an easy and almost unnoticeable switch for the companies that use EFKO’s food ingredients.
