EFKO Group technologists told about new methods in production of spreads and milk-containing products

18 July 2018, Uglich, Russia – EFKO Group, leader of specialized fats and margarines market in Russia and EEU countries, took part in the International week of butter and cheese manufacturing organized by the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of butter and cheese manufacturing with the support of the country’s Department of Agriculture, where told about topical issues related to the production of milk-containing products and spreads.

IMG_2454_2.jpgTraditionally within the event the most important matters of concern of the branch were discussed: changes in Technical regulation of the Custom Union «About milk and dairy products safety» (TP TC 033/2013), standardization and production of milk and milk-containing products, modern tendencies in Russian butter and cheese manufacturing. During the event original technologies of pickled cheeses and national equipment for cheese and spread production were represented.

Doctor of Biological Sciences, professor, academician of the RAS Yuri Sviridenko and doctor of Technical Sciences, temporarily in charge of the director of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of butter and cheese manufacturing Elena Topnikova made a report «Scientific support of cheese and milk manufacturing production in modern conditions» while chairman of the Board of the National Union of milk producers «Soyuzmoloko» Andrey Danilenko told about current situation at the milk market and projected growth.

Oleg Zozulin, manager of technological support of EFKO Group’s sales, within his report «Topical issues of milk-containing products and spread production» told about an assortment, distinctive specific features and purposes of milk fat substitutes, production methods applied at EFKO Group’s production areas and new tendencies in production.
