EFKO joins the German Institute of Food Technologies

In June 2012, EFKO became an official member of the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL), an association of German food producers based in Quakenbrück, Germany. EFKO is yet the only Russian company out of 140 members cooperating with the German Institute of Food Technologies.

An idea of cooperation with a high-level foreign research institute had been long nurtured as EFKO needs an expert assessment of its fats. This is required by new trends in the industry, and by EFKO partners who use company products as inputs in their production process.

The association focuses on research of production technologies for food processing and related industries, and shares its findings and modern technologies with food industry experts. It develops relevant documents, educates researchers, and organizes advanced training courses for industry employees.
