EFKO has yet again taken part in the Modern Bakery International Exhibition. The exhibition was held at Expocentre, Moscow, on 13–15 June 2012. EFKO's active involvement was traditionally far-reaching – the Company acted both as an exhibitor and a workshop organizator for its customers, and participated in special events of the exhibition.
One of these events was the Food Ingredients: Taste, Benefit, Technology workshop organized on 14 June 2012. The workshop discussed application of food ingredients in bakeries and confectioneries, and technology aspects of functional additives, mixtures, ferments, flavour additives, and specialized fats. Olga Khloponina, EFKO's leading expert, spoke on advantages of the Ecopie specialized margarine for shortcrust pastry.
