EFKO Group participated in the exhibition «BelgorodAgro 2019»

4 October 2019, Belgorod, Russia – EFKO Group – a vertically integrated holding, one of the leaders of export of oilseeds processing and brand food products, represented its achievements at the XXIV Interregional specialized exhibition «BelgorodAgro 2019».

8AYWMuZTQ2w.jpgThe Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Department of agro-industrial complex and environment reproduction of Belgorod region and Belgorod Chamber of Commerce and Industry became organizers of the event. It took place in the exhibition complex «Belexpocenter». Over 120 enterprises of agro-industrial complex from different parts of Russia and Belarus participated in it. The key topic was development of export potential of agro-industrial complex and production of organic products and cooperation.

EFKO Group represented at its stand the samples of «Sloboda» brand products – champion of the country in amount of awards from Roskachestvo.

Employees of the R&D center of Fat&Oil division of the Group especially for the event prepared several types of confectionaries based on EFKO specialized fats and margarines: sandy and almond biscuits and several types of sweets made with cacao butter equivalent.

At the moment, EFKO Group is the only one in Russia producer who is able to perform the process of «dry» fractionation – a high-tech method of vegetable oils modification at the moment of production of cacao butter alternatives used in confectionary industry.

dwCDx9Bb0qw.jpgThe forum «Export of agro-industrial products. Regional agenda» became the main event of «BelgorodAgro 2019» and was chaired by the governor of Belgorod region Evgeny Savchenko. Within the event, Alexey Gavrilov, Director of Export Potential Division of EFKO Group, told about the growth of export of EFKO Group’s Fat&Oil products - the plan is to increase it triply by the 2024. According to him, the main directions of development of the RF export must become countries of the «big water» such as China, India and countries of the Persian Gulf. Taman sea terminal, one of the EFKO Group’s assets, is one of the drivers of the growth. It is able to expand promptly its capacities for requirements of the sector and provide transshipment to export by 3 mln tn of vegetable oils and by 3,5 mln tn of vegetable meals.

Alexey Gavrilov noted that for the further implementation of the plan on Fat&Oil products it is necessary to develop production of oilseeds crops – increasing of oilseeds crop rotation, introduction of new areas, application of agro-technologies to increase yields that will lead to the growth of oilseeds resource in the country and full loading of plants. Besides, it is necessary to develop logistic infrastructure to optimize expenses of exporters for transportation and product storage.
