Ecological landing forces landed on Taman

30 April 2014, Taman, Russia – More than 50 students-volunteers of project "Environmental Team", implemented by the company "Food Ingredients" (part of EFKO Group), participated in All-Russian voluntary  Saturday work held in Taman prior to May holidays.

экодесант_1.jpgLLP "Food Ingredients" as a largest EFKO Group asset in South of Russia, annually supports a number of social projects aimed at the development of culture, science, education, the environment and promoting healthy lifestyle.

The project "Ecological landing force" was made by the company under the youth volunteer movement "New Horizons". The idea of separation in this movement of a project aimed at forming of ecological culture and creative attitude among Taman students to the protection of the native land, was offered by the leadership of the Russian public organization.

"Green Patrol" in the beginning of April under the environmental workingэкодесант_2.jpg group of "Food Ingredients" received support from the company's management and representatives of the Temryuk district administration and Taman rural settlement, as well as local environmental organizations.

Prior to May holidays, more than 50 volunteers of the project "Environmental Team" took part in All-Russian volunteer Saturday work, held in Taman. Within a few hours the students were engaged in young alley of 300 park trees ennobling along the Karl Marx street, planted them in the last year with the "Food Ingredients" staff’s support. In addition to garbage collection, volunteers dig in and pulled trees, creating grooves for more convenient watering around them.

According to General Director of "Food Ingredients" Evgeniy Chernykh: "I am glad that due to the project the guys have started to strive to take care of the native land – at a volunteer Saturday work they conscientiously come to the alley ennobling, and, they say, also received a lot of positive emotions".

экодесант_3.jpgThe company "Food Ingredients" is implementing a project on the Taman Peninsula of the youth volunteer movement "New Horizons" since July 2013. The project aims to popularize among the younger generation of Taman residents the ideas of caring for the environment and about the grant assistance for older people. It allows young people to actualize themselves through good deeds for the benefit of the native land. During the project, there have been implemented nearly 35 events, which were attended by more than 100 pupils of 8-11 classes of Taman and Volna village schools.
